Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lafayette honoring the life of Beryl Richard Williams, 87, who passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Calcutta House in Lafayette.
A visitation will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am.
Father Josh Guillory will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
A cherished parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, Beryl's unwavering faith guided her through every season of life. She embodied the spirit of kindness and compassion, inspiring those around her with her devoutness and love for God. She found happiness in the simple joys of life-gardening, cooking, dancing, and sewing, each of which she embraced with passion.
Beryl's heart overflowed with love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she could often be found playing on the floor with them, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Beryl was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Thomas "Tommy" Williams, Jr.; son, Kevin Lancon and his wife, Melissa; step-sons, Chad Williams and his wife, Pam, and Danny Williams and his wife, Lauri; brother, Drew Richard and his wife, Marlene; grandchildren, Logan Lancon and his wife, Juliann, and Lauren Brunkhorst and her husband, Andrew; and great-grandchildren, Grace and Leo Lancon and Emma, Jack and Ellie Brunkhorst.
She is preceded in death by her former husband, Charles Lancon; parents, Alexander Richard and Mildred Guillotte Richard; and sister, Shirley Richert.
Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
