New Iberia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, June 6, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Betty Harry Frank, 79, who died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in Lydia. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery, in Jeanerette. Rev. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Frank was born on October 25, 1934 to Alcide Joseph Harry and Josephine Judice Harry. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, going to church and the casino, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Eddie Joseph Frank and wife Margie of New Iberia, Donna F. Thibodeaux and husband Randy of Lydia, Marjorie F. Louviere and husband Oren of New Iberia, Julian Frank, Sr. and wife Debbie of Lydia, Johnston Frank of New Iberia, Clare F. Babineaux and husband Eddie Babineaux, Jr. of New Iberia; sister, Belda H. Broussard and husband Glenn of New Iberia; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild due in October. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frank was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Louis Frank; son, Richard Frank; grandson, Eddie Joseph Frank, Jr.; sisters, Ruby H. Lyons, Joann H. Camacho, Irene H. Hebert, Anna Lee H. Broussard, Marie H. Charpentier, Alderine H. Hebert; brothers, Jessie Harry, Sidney Jacob Harry, and Walter Harry. Pallbearers include Eddie Frank, Donna Thibodeaux, Marjorie Louviere, Julian Frank, Sr., Johnston Frank, Clare Babineaux, Randy Thibodeaux, and Jeremy Frank. Honorary pallbearers include Chad Broussard, Christopher Frank, Ernie Moreau, Troy Broussard, Cory Camacho, Jason Broussard, Oren Louviere, Eddie Babineaux, Jr., Harry Charpentier, Kerry Louviere, and Diane Hass.
