Betty Lou Theriot Mason

Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula, for Betty Lou Theriot Mason, 82, who passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula from 3:30 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday and continue at 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Richard Fabre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. She is survived by four daughters, Iris Theriot (Bobby), Charlene Boudreaux (Jeff), Sandra Boudreaux, and Kerry Mason; one son, Glynn Mason (Lonnie); two sisters, Peggy Veret and Joanne Olivier; her brother, Jerry Theriot; sister-in-law, Emaline Theriot, nine grandchildren, Tonya Theriot, Adrian Theriot (Lauren), Raquel Mason (Randy), Ross Mason (Angel), Ike Mason (Mandy), Kimberly Gardemal (Chris), Jacob Boudreaux (Angelique), Aldes Timothy Boudreaux, IV (Misty), and Ariel Boudreaux; and eleven great grandchildren, Layke Bourque, Sidney Bourque, Lexi Mason, Kenzi Mason, Charlie Mason, Eann Gardemal, Mason Gardemal, Angelina Ricks, Alyssa Boudreaux, Rylie Boudreaux, and Reece Boudreaux. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ernest Mason; her parents, John and Pauline Bourque Theriot; three brothers, Russel, Jimmy, and Antoine Theriot; her sisters-in-law, Yuline Theriot and Doris Theriot; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Skye Gardemal; and her son-in-law, Aldes "Tim" Boudreaux, III. Pallbearers will be Adrian Theriot, Ross Mason, Ike Mason, Aldes Timothy Boudreaux, IV, Jacob Boudreaux, and Glynn Mason.
