Beverly Guy Douet

Cecilia - A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Beverly Guy Douet, 71, who passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia from 10:30 am until 10:00 pm on Friday and continue at 7:00 am until 9:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday. Monseigneur Curtis Mallet will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures for the service will be Kimberly Miller. Gift bearers will be Shannon Boudreaux, Gabe and Greyson Miller. Interment will be at a later date at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Douet enjoyed being with her family and especially loved cooking for them. She also passed her time sewing, crocheting and embroidering. She like the Mardi Gras holiday and liked to go fishing. She is survived by her sons, David Kieff and Julius Kieff, Jr. both of Dulac, her daughters, Jennifer Kieff (Michael, Sr.) Gregoire, Cindy Kieff (Clay) Price, Lori (Albert) Francis all of Dulac, and Whitnie Douet (Chad) Miller of Cecilia, her brother, Lawrence Guy of Montegut, her sister, Eula Mae Guy of Montegut, her grandchildren, Travis Price, Sarah Price Naquin, Kerry Lajaunie, Kera Lajaunie, Kyle Francis, Jakob Francis, Lilly Kieff, Katelyn Gregoire, Michael Gregoire, Jr., Gabe Miller, Greyson Miller, Sidnie Miller, her great grandchildren, Bryson Naquin, Kylie Price, Kamden Price, Javier Perez, Johnathon Gregoire, Emily Lajaunie, Layla Francis, McKaylee Price and Braigon Price. She is preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Douet Sr., her father, Gilbert Guy, mother, Lilly Marie Lirette Guy Pallbearers will be Rickey Douet, Michael Gregorie, Jr., John Douet, Julius Kieff, Jr., Michael Douet, and David Kieff. Honorary pallbearers will be Katelynn Gregorie, Johnathon Gregorie, Kyle Francis, Stanley Douet, Allen Gerard, Sr., Lance Gerard, Lina Gerard, Allen Gerard, Jr., Jean Douet, Chad Miller, Gabe Miller, Greyson Miller, Bryson Price, Lily Kieff, Clay Price, and Albert (Gabby) Francis.
