Beverly Anna Petrere

Cecilia - A graveside service will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia for Beverly Anna Petrere, 81.  She passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023, after an eight-year battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer.

Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate graveside service.

Beverly was born on January 3, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Don Petrere and Freda Frances Thier Petrere. She was first and foremost a mom who raised five boys. She enjoyed playing the piano in her younger years and loved putting puzzles together in her later years. Beverly will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Donald Ashley (Geralyn), Louis Ashley, and Stephen Ashley (Wendy); brothers, Andy Petrere (Algie) and Sammy Petrere; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Freda Frances Thier Petrere; brother, Les Petrere; first husband, Charles J. Ashley, Sr.; second husband, Lawton Barton; sons, Chuck Ashley and Kenny Ashley.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hope Hospice and St. Agnes Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Beverly.
