Breaux Bridge A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Billy James Daigle, 43, who passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:30 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 7:00 am until 10:45 am. A rosary will be prayed by Sister Ameline Theriot at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Pastor Rodney Chitwood will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Billy enjoyed camping, biking, fishing, and playing video games. He loved being with his pride and joy, his children. Billy always helped others in any way he could, even when he was sick. He will greatly be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Verna Degeyter Daigle; sons, Brandon Daigle and Braylon Daigle; daughter, Kelsey Daigle; brother, Scott (Candice Breaux) Daigle; sister, Melissa (Donnie) Conques; godchild, Megan Conques; nephews, David Conques, Gavin Lavergne, and Logan Lavergne; and the mother of his children, Kimberly Daigle. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Mildred Theriot Degeyter; paternal grandparents, Lucien and Agnes Johnson Daigle; uncles, Dennis Daigle, Daniel Daigle, Darris Daigle and Percy Daigle; and godmother, Linda Boyer LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Brandon Daigle, Scott Daigle, Clifford Boyer Jr., Paul Baudoin, Joey Bergeron, and Terry LeBlanc Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Daigle and Braylon Daigle.
