Bobby Picard, I

St. Martinville - A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Bobby Picard, I, 56, who passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday and continue on Tuesday at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday.

Deacon Adam Conque will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in St. Martinville.

Bobby was a member of the Harley Davidson Chapter. He enjoyed riding his Harley, car racing, entertaining family and friends, and exercising. Bobby was meticulous about his toys: cars, motor bikes and tools. He will be remembered as a hardworking, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who always put his family first.

He is survived by his sons, Bobby Picard II (Julia) and Travis Picard; daughter, Tiffany Picard; grandchildren, Harley, Hayden, Thomas, Myalyn, Maddie, Lil Bobby III, and Emmett; sisters, Cathy Leger (George), Cindy Derouen (David), and Margie Picard (David); and brother, Johnny Picard (Nancy).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle Marie Guidry Picard; parents, Paul and Mazel "Shirley" Sonnier Picard; and brothers, Alton and Ronald Picard.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Picard II, Travis Picard, Paul Maturin, Sam Stansbury, Joe Richard, and Richard Raymond.
