New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel, for Braedyn Joshua Powell, infant son of Jared and Kaylen Boutte Powell of New Iberia, who passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Thursday at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Interment will follow at Beau Pr Cemetery in New Iberia. Braedyn is also survived by his brother, Ace Powell; grandparents, Kathy and Kent Powell, April Boutte, and Craig Schaubert; great grandparents, Raymond and Darlene Boutte and Gilbert and Corida Schaubert; his uncles, Justin Powell, Jeffrey Powell, Dillan Schaubert, Tylon Schaubert, and Colbren Schaubert; his aunt, Julie Comeaux and husband, Cory; and his cousins, Ryan Powell, Angelle Comeaux, and Connor Comeaux, all of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by two uncles, Joshua Powell and Bra Schaubert. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be Ace Powell, Justin Powell, Cory Comeaux, Ryan Powell, Dillan Schaubert, Tylon Schaubert, Colbren Schaubert, and Connor Comeaux.
