Brannon "Cuda" Latiolais

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2024, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Brannon "Cuda" Latolais, 29, who passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM on Friday.

Rev. Michael Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reader will be Jayden Breaux. Gift bearers will be Nita Berard and Kaylee Breaux.

Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.

Brannon was born on June 25, 1995, in Lafayette. Brannon was a talented barber, known for his passion and skill in his craft. He was self-employed and found great joy in his work, serving his community with dedication and care. His love for music, especially artists like Machine Gun Kelly and Juice WRLD will always be remembered. Brannon also had the honor of reading the Eulogy for several of his friends and family members. Brannon was not only an avid dirt bike rider but also took great pleasure in teaching children the art of riding, instilling in them both skills and a sense of freedom that comes with the sport.

His humor and wit were legendary; Brannon had a remarkable gift for storytelling that captivated everyone around him. Whether he was recounting tales from his own experiences or crafting new narratives to share with friends and family, his ability to bring laughter to those he loved was a testament to his character as a jokester and comedian.

He is survived by his mother, Nichole Breaux; brother, Kiley (Kirsten) Patin; sisters, Kaylee (Colin) Breaux and Jayden (Micah) Breaux; grandparents, Ned and Nita Berard; godparents Dennis Pontiff and Kaye Landry; and his godchildren, Paisley Ryder and Kam Patin.

He is preceded in death by his father, Karry Patin; grandparents, Joseph and Mavis Patin; great-grandparents, Aurelien and Virgie Latiolais; and his uncle, Timmy Berard.

Pallbearers will be Kiley Patin, Justin Sims, Alex Kidder, Drake Wiltz, Dylan LeBlanc, and Dylan Laneaux.

Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Bourque, Cole Bourque, Colin Fournier and Micah Huval.
