Breaux Bridge- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2026 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville honoring the life of Brenda Ann Hebert, 82, who passed away on October 1, 2026 at Heart Hospital.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Monday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM on Monday.
Deacon Adam Conque will officiate at the funeral mass.
Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Born on July 5, 1944, in Abbeville, Louisiana, Brenda was a proud graduate of Erath High Class of 1962. She dedicated much of her life to serving others, working as a bus driver in the where she was known for her kindness and dedication towards the children she transported.
A faithful and devoted Catholic, Brenda was actively involved in her parish community. She volunteered at the adoration chapel, participated in the Ladies Altar Society, and served as a Eucharistic minister. Her joyful spirit and infectious happiness touched the lives of many, and she was a source of strength and love to those around her.
Brenda found joy in simple pleasures; she loved playing bingo with her friends, dancing, and cooking for her family. She was known for her unforgettable seafood gumbo. Her warmth and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, George Miller; son, Jerry Bourque (Carey) and Scotty Bourque (Tracey); grandchildren, Megan Gauthier, Madison Moran (Tyler), Heather Blackard (Caleb), Chloe Bourque, Dax Bourque, and Zachary Bourque; great grandchildren, Hazel Boudreaux, Sophie Gauthier, Michael Moran, Marley Moran, Beaux Campbell, and Annabelle Blackard; and one brother, Robert Hebert (Karen Rue).
She is preceded in death by her father, Minos Hebert; mother, Mathilde Lemaire Hebert; and one sister, Mary Nell Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Bourque, Scotty Bourque, Zachary Bourque, Tyler Moran, John Ward and Matthew Hebert.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hebert and John Bradley Ward.
Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
