New Iberia A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday, November 25, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Bret James Pellerin, 49, who passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, a rosary will be recited at 6 pm on Sunday, and visitation will continue at 8:00 am until 10:45 am on Monday, at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560. Pastor Randy Dugas, of Our Saviors Church, will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery in New Iberia. Bret was the owner and operator of CopyNet, L.L.C. A company he proudly founded in 2003, in which he was committed to providing the very best in office equipment sales and service to the Acadiana area. He was a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bret enjoyed watching sports and was a huge fan of the L.S.U. Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. Bret was a strong, loving, and devoted husband and father, who cherished times spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Lopez Pellerin of New Iberia; two sons, Joshua (fiance, Tiffini) Pellerin of New Iberia, and Caleb Pellerin of Lafayette; two step daughters, Toni Boutte and Erica Dupont, both of Lafayette; two brothers, Keith (Anita) Pellerin of Conroe, TX, and Kirk (Donna) Pellerin of New Iberia; his sister, Julie Pellerin of New Iberia; two step grandchildren, Dylan and Jacob Boutte; nine nieces and nephews, Caroline, Joseph, Julie, Andrew, Melanie, Bobby, Mariah, Brandon, and Laymond; and his faithful dog, Jaxx. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilton and Merle Fritz Pellerin. Pallbearers will be Joshua Pellerin, Caleb Pellerin, Joseph Pellerin, Andrew Pellerin, Robert "Bobby" Sanders, and Tim Hanks. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Pellerin, Kirk Pellerin, Tom LeBlanc, and Jason Moss.
