Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, January 31, 2011, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Brigette L. Latiolais, 101, who passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Fr. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift Bearers will be Carson Angelle and Carter Guidry. Mrs. Latiolais was a member of the Altar Society at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Henderson. Survivors include her son, Berlie Latiolais and his wife, Beatrice of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Lona Guidry and her husband, Ames of Breaux Bridge, Gerdie Angelle of Breaux Bridge , and Shirley LaFleur and her husband, John of Pierre Part; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine Latiolais; her parents, Leonard and Ida Castille Latiolais; her brothers, Meonce, Lloyd, Halpen, Albert, Leonard, Jr. and Florent Latiolais; her sisters, Alzelie Hayes, Bertha Devillier, Helen Sonnier, Lovenia Olivier and Alma Robin; a grandson, Timothy Melancon; a great grandson, Marc Leteff and 2 sons-in law, Ernest Melancon and Robert 'Rob' Angelle. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited Sunday evening. Pallbearers will be Dylan Braud, Thomas Latiolais, Bucky Guidry, Kenneth Angelle, Shane Leteff, and Brent Bishop. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Angelle and Guy Angelle.
