Bryant Thomas Devillier

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Bryant Thomas Devillier, 49, who died on Monday, March 17, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue at 8:00 am until 10:45 am on Thursday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Harold Molbert. Gift Bearers will be Madison Richard and Sage and Kaden Champagne. Music will be provided by Pope Huval and Patrick Melancon. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia. Bryant loved to ride his bike and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and woodworking. He loved spending time with his family and friends and most especially his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Huval Devillier; his parents, Larry James Devillier and Juanna Mae Hebert Devillier; daughter, Jessi Devillier Fontenot and husband, Dustin, and Kaitlin Devillier; two step daughters, Kellie Thibodeaux and Kristen Champagne and husband, Brandon; his step son, Brooke Michael Richard; three brothers, Barton James Devillier, Randall Paul Devillier, and Keith John Devillier; his sister, Cheryl Ann Devillier; and six grandchildren, Madison and Myah Richard, Sage, Kaden, Layne, and Ali-Kaye Champagne, and one on-the-way, Braxan Fontenot. Pallbearers will be Randall Devillier, Leonard Devillier, Brooke Richard, Brandon Champagne, Tim Ivanoff, and Kirk Warner.
