Bunice Robin Taylor

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm, on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Bunice Robin Taylor, 90, who passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm on Thursday. Rev. Keenan Brown will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Naomi Credeur and Nicholas Taylor. Gift Bearers will be Shirley Melancon and Cheryl Knott. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mrs. Taylor loved cleaning her home, serving coffee to visitors, and cooking for family gatherings. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by four sons, Wilson (Ann) Taylor, Ronald (Jackie) Taylor, Robert Lee Taylor, and Carl Taylor; two daughters, Shirley Melancon and Cheryl (Randy) Knott; her sister, Angela Taylor; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillian Olivier Robin; her husband, Evans "Frere" Taylor; four brothers, Howard, Russell, Lester, and Harry Robin; two sisters, Priscilla Courville and Marie Robin; a granddaughter, Mia Taylor; a great grandson, Dylan Taylor; and her son-in-law, Brent Melancon. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Knott, Chad Taylor, Todd Taylor, Trent Melancon, Mitch Credeur, Julian Pontiff, and Dexter Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilson Taylor, Ronald Taylor, Robert Lee Taylor, Carl Taylor, and Randy Knott.
