Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Camere "Turkee" Breaux, 19, who passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 7:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
Pastor Darren Benoit will officiate at the Funeral Service.
Burial will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Camere Ashad Breaux, beloved son, friend, and father.
Camere was a vibrant spirit, known for his nickname "Turkee", his infectious smile and his unwavering dedication to those he loved. He had a passion for life that shone brightly in all that he did. He loved riding horses, trail rides and he could often be found dancing. Whether playing basketball or football, Camere's energy was unparalleled. Above all, Camere cherished the time he spent with his son.
Camere will be remembered not just hobbies, but also for his impeccable style-always dressed and clean-cut, he left a lasting impression wherever he went. His light will continue to shine in the memories shared by family, friends, and all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Demaris Lee (Gaston) and James Breaux; son, Ca'Trayci Breaux; mother of his son, A'mynie Mouton; brothers, Camaron Lee, Kyeron Breaux and Kayden Breaux; sister, Jasiri Louis; maternal grandmother, Ruby Lee; niece, Kalilah Lee; and nephew, Kenzlo Lee.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Walter Derouselle; and paternal grandparents, Lorena and Daniel Breaux.
Pallbearers will be Desmond Breaux, Aaron Breaux, Keilan Williams, Dakalyn Jackson, Desovion Williams and Rilen Alexander.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Camaron Lee, Kyeron Breaux, Kayden Breaux, Trevella Lee, Tremaine Lee and Tyrell Sam.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
