Candie Borel Moss

New Iberia – Candie Borel Moss, 60, passed away in Houston, Texas on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm.

Eulogies will be shared by friends and family at 3:00 pm on Sunday.

Candie Borel Moss was born in New Iberia, Louisiana, on March 4, 1966, and was a resident of Magnolia, Texas for many years. She was a very loving and devoted wife. An avid outdoorswoman and animal lover, Candie enjoyed raising rabbits, horses, and dogs, and was most in her element being in the sun, going to the beach, fishing, and competition shooting. She was an excellent cook, and a loved to spoil her husband, kids and grandkids. Candie will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Moss is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Barry Moss; children, Cody Broussard, Bailey Moss (Ethan Gary), and Aaron Keith Moss; father, Malcolm Borel; siblings, Pamela Derouen (Ridgeway), Morty Borel (Patrice), Malcolm Borel II, and Mike Borel; grandchildren, Charlotte Moss, Anastasia Moss, Halen Gary, Henley Gary, and Ellie Moss; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Robert Borel.

Candie’s kind spirit will remain in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.
