New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM , Thursday,December 22, 2011 , at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Carl Robert Breaux, 55, who passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 in New Iberia . Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery . Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 1:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM . Born on September 21, 1956 in New Iberia , Carl was a graduate of Catholic High, and was retired from E.P. Breaux Electric after 37 years of service. He enjoyed working in his garden and spending time with his friends. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Griffis Rochester of St. Martinville; son, Richard Breaux and girlfriend Annie Kibbe of New Iberia ; daughter, Gretchen Breaux of Lafayette ; fianc, Juanita Curtis of St. Martinville; brothers, Paul Breaux and wife Lori of St. Martinville, Louis Breaux and wife Margie of Lafayette, Earl 'Larry' Breaux, Jr. and wife Pat of New Iberia; sisters, Jenny Comeaux and husband Troy of St. Martinville, Sandra Gatz and husband Doug of Lafayette; and a granddaughter, Jacobia Delgado. Carl was preceded in death by his father, Earl Breaux, Sr. Pallbearers will be Justin Louviere, Johnny Breaux, Meagan Adams, Jamie Curtis, Lawrence 'Tuttie' Romero, and David Gatz.
