Carmen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Carmen proudly worked as an Engineering Aid at LUS, where she demonstrated her keen intellect and strong work ethic. Her true passions lay in creativity and the arts, where she thrived in various arts and crafts projects. An enthusiastic supporter of her husband Gary's music career, Carmen often attended his concerts and contributed her organizational skills to help further his artistic endeavors.
As a grandmother, Carmen was a dedicated and nurturing "Gammy," attending every one of her grandchildren's activities and events, cheering them on and instilling in them the values of love and support. Her family and friends knew her as a beacon of encouragement and warmth, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gary Breaux; children, Jared Breaux and Laurie Breaux (Clinton) Latiolais; grandchildren, Emma Marie Latiolais and Preston James Latiolais; and three siblings.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Norma Eleazar Landry; and two sisters, Denise C. Landry Duhon and June Landry.
