Carroll Domingue, Sr.

Cecilia - A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2026, 3:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Carroll Domingue, Sr., 86, who passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 PM on Sunday.

Deacon Perry Guidry will officiate the memorial service. Readers will be Robin Barnes, Natalie Lanclos and Juleia Boyer.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Carroll was born on July 28, 1939, in Lafayette to the late George and Enola Broussard Domingue. He was a proud resident of the Cecilia community for over 50 years, where he and his wife, Janelle Landry Domingue, nurtured a loving home for their four children.

Carroll honorably served his country in the United States Army for four years. Following his military service, he dedicated 15 years of his life working as a steel erector until he became disabled in 1979. Known for his tenacity and strong work ethic, Carroll was regarded as the family's "Mr. Fix It," capable of repairing nearly anything in the home or on a vehicle.

In his leisure time, Carroll pursued his passions with great enthusiasm. He enjoyed horse breeding and racing, visiting the casino, and attending family gatherings, where card games, especially Booray, brought everyone together. An avid sports fan, Carroll made it a point to cheer on the Saints and LSU football teams. His true passion lay in yard work, where he took pride in cutting the grass to perfection.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janelle Landry Domingue; children, Ricky Domingue, Sr., Timmy Domingue (Rebecca), Joseph "Carroll" Domingue, Jr. (Deidre) and Monica Champagne; grandchildren, Natalie Lanclos, Juleia Boyer, Ricky Domingue, Jr., Krystal Gaspard, and Marshall Purzycki; eight great grandchildren; several god children; a host of nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Lacie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Enola Broussard Domingue; siblings, Lawrence Paul Domingue, Anna Lee Domingue Begnaud and Patrick Dale Domingue; grandchild, Kayla Evelyn Domingue; and his son-in-law, Lane Paul Champagne.

Urnbearer will be Joseph "Carroll" Domingue, Jr.
