Coteau - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in New Iberia for Catherine Cuccio Primeaux , 88, who passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019, in Lafayette. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Rev. Brian Harrington will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 9:00 am until 1:15 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 am on Tuesday. Survivors include her children, Hal Primeaux of New Iberia, Kathy Leger of Youngsville, Marilyn Pontiff and husband Brian of Youngsville, Karl Primeaux and wife Denise of New Iberia, Michael Boudreaux of New Iberia, Tina Poirrier and husband Michael of New Iberia, William Primeaux and partner Kevin of Lafayette; brothers, Frank Cuccio and wife Marlene of New Iberia, Johnny Cuccio and wife Liz of New Iberia; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Cuccio; mother, Josephine R. Cuccio; brothers, Jasper "Lou" Cuccio, Joe Cuccio, and Sammy Cuccio.
