Cecilia - Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Cecilia LeBlanc, 90, who passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday and continue at 9:00 am until 1:15 pm on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Tyler Brasseaux and Donnie Louviere. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Cecile enjoyed her children, crafts and doing her housework. She is survived by her daughter, Mavis Louviere and her husband, Donald of Broussard; her son, Wilton Brasseaux of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Rena Mae Guidry and her husband, Melvin of Gonzales and Marie Patin of Henderson; her 6 grandchildren; and her 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ignaus and Louise M. Melancon; her 1st husband, Allen Brasseaux; her 2nd husband, Clarence LeBlanc; her brothers, Clarence "Bloc" Melancon, Dewey Melancon, and Bertrand Melancon; and her sister, Rita Blanchard. Pallbearers will be Donnie Louviere, Craig Louviere, Kip Brasseaux, Kerry Brasseaux, Lee Brasseaux, and Derrick Brasseaux. Honorary pallbearer will be Kim Brasseaux.
