Chad Thomas Huval

Breaux Bridge - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Chad Thomas Huval, age 58, who departed from this world peacefully at his residence on September 2, 2026.

Born on November 10, 1967, in Breaux Bridge, Chad was a beloved son, father, and grandfather whose passion for life and unwavering kindness touched all who knew him. He had a zest for adventure, finding joy in hunting and fishing, and was known for his warm spirit-he never met a stranger. Above all, Chad cherished his family; they were the center of his universe and brought him profound happiness.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Tommy and Cheryl Huval; spouse, Tonya McCarty; daughters, Peggy Huval(William Fulkerson); Chassie Huval (Rodney Daigle, Jr.) and Lindsay Lafont; sons, Tyler Huval and Chase Lafont; in- laws, Kay and Robert Laneaux, Teresa McCarty, Roy and Tonia McCarty, Roger and Monique McCarty and Penny Huval; grandchildren, Landon Adams, Baylon Adams, Tatum Lafont, Levi Lafont, Landry Daigle and Layton Daigle.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharlene Thibodeaux; son, Blake McCarty; ex-wife, Lisa Huval.
