St. Martinville A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am, on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Charles Capritto, 93, who passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at St. Martinville Rehab & Nursing Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, and continue at 8:00 am until 11:15 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Kellie Champagne and Jill Cook. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Mr. Capritto was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family and friends. As a pastime he enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and talking about farming. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Graffeo Capritto of St. Martinville; two daughters, Frances Douet and her husband, Melvin, and Kathleen Theriot and her husband, Ronny, all of St. Martinville; five grandchildren, Sharon Bienvenu, Jessica Lejeune, Jimmy Ledbetter, Kellie Champagne, and Jill Cook; three step grandchildren, Leah Blanchard, Brian Theriot, and Erin Theriot; 17 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bienvenu, Madison Champagne, Alexas and Brycen Cook, Jackson Lejeune, Cameron Lejeune, Brianne Lejeune, Briggs Blanchard, Tori Boudreaux, Gracie Blanchard, Allie DeCourt, Addison Cormier, Ashtyn Monk, Thomas Theriot, Collin Theriot, Tannor Theriot, and Tucker Theriot; and one great-great grandchild, Presley Blanchard. He is preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Francesca Rumore Capritto; two brothers, Michael and Rosario Capritto; three sisters, Frances Governale, Rosalie Milazzo, and Josephine Hollier; and a great grandchild, Brennen Blanchard. Pallbearers will be Jed Champagne, Jimmy Bienvenu, Jimmy Ledbetter, Mike Capritto, Jimmy Capritto, and Salvador Milazzo. Honorary pallbearer will be Dustin Cook.
