Charlotte Champagne Stelly

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Charlotte Champagne Stelly, 64, who passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018, in Lafayette. Entombment will follow in the Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre. Rev. Korey LaVergne will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 12 noon until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Stelly was born on January 12, 1954 to the late Whitney and Anna Belle Trahan Champagne. She enjoyed shopping, talking on the phone, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Roger Dale Stelly of New Iberia; daughter, Ashley Villa and husband Luis of New Iberia; sons, Lucas Stelly and Justin Stelly of New Iberia; brother, Ronald Champagne and wife Billie of New Caney, Texas; grandchildren, Alexis Villa, Ariel Villa and Avery Villa; nephew/godchild, Mike Campbell and wife April of New Iberia; nephew, Chris Champagne and wife Michelle of Splendora, Texas; niece, Connie Kelpen and husband Mike of Texas; and a great nephew, Omi Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Katie Campbell. Pallbearers will be Justin Stelly, Lucas Stelly, Roger Stelly, Blake Stelly, Luis Villa, and Mike Campbell.
