Chester A. "Pops" Wiltz

October 4, 1945 — April 6, 2020

Breaux Bridge - A Private Graveside Service will be held for the immediate family of Chester A. Wiltz, 74, who passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020. We are forever grateful for the outpouring love and support that we have received on the loss of our father. Due to Covid-19 protocol and stay at home guidelines a public viewing will not be held. As a family, we have decided that we will have a memorial service to honor our father as soon as it is safe to do so. Thanks again for the love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Chester was a resident of Breaux Bridge, LA. He was born to the late Elmer, Sr. and Mable Williams Wiltz on October 4, 1945. Chester was a faithful member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Parks, LA, where he proudly served as a member of the church choir. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Chester enjoyed fishing, tending to his various exotic pets, and spending time with family and friends in his "man cave.” He was loved and revered by his loving grandchildren who nicknamed him “Pops.” He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving spouse of 54 years, Stella Soularie Wiltz; daughters, Penny Edwards (Zachary), Tiffiny Lewis (Kenya), and Kimberly Anderson (Tracey); son, Chase Perrault; grandchildren, Alexis Chapa Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Jada Edwards, Zion Lewis, Brianna Edwards, Lyrc Lewis, Dwyndell Chase Perrault, Jr., Cierra Perrault, Icyss Perrault, Carma Perrault, and Cayla Perrault; brothers, Alvin Wiltz and wife Monica, Ray Wiltz, and Gregory Wiltz; sisters, Lois Wiltz Trahan and husband Odel, and Charlene Wiltz; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Wiltz, Sr.; mother, Mable Williams Wiltz; brothers, Charlie Wiltz and Elmer Wiltz, Jr.; and his sisters, Linda W. Smith, Jeanette W. Foreman, and Madel Wiltz. Pallbearers will be Chase Perrault, Zachary Edwards, Kenya Lewis, and Tracey Anderson. Honorary pallbearer will be Zion Lewis. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements. To view on-line obituary, sign guestbook and view video tribute, go to www.pellerinfuneralhome.com
