New Iberia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, September 23, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in New Iberia for Christie Quebedeaux Guillot, 36, who died Friday, September 20, 2013, in New Iberia.
Interment will be at a later date.
Msgr. Richard Greene will be the Celebrant.
A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM.
Christie was born on November 10, 1976 in Lafayette, and was an area resident for most of her life. She enjoyed being outdoors and camping, but most of all taking care of her family.
She is survived by husband, James Brent Guillot of New Iberia; her children, Jacob Paul Guillot, Gavin Scott Guillot, and Abigail Hope Guillot all of New Iberia; mother, Brenda Richard and husband Ronnie of Rayne; father, Larry Quebedeaux and wife Debbie of Sunset; grandmothers, Edmie Quebedeaux of Sunset, Thelma Brasseaux of Carencro; sisters, Stacy Pichoff and husband Joe of Lafayette, Bridget Stelly and husband Nick of Lafayette, Jessica Quebedeaux of Lafayette; step brother, Chad Richard and wife Angie of Rayne; step sister, Reagen Stelly and husband Mike of Sunset; husbands parents, Rickie Guillot and Betty Sonnier Guillot both of New Iberia; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Leroy Quebedeaux and Haywood Frenchie Brasseaux.
Pallbearers will be Nick Stelly, Joe Pichoff, Mike Stelly, Chad Richard, Brennan Leger, and Michael Daigle.
