Christina Thanh Thi Nguyen

Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson and at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Our Lady Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Christina Thanh Thi Nguyen, 59, who passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm on Friday and continue until time of service on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 5:30 pm on Friday, August 10, 2018. Rev. James Nguyen will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift bearers will be Kim Nguyen, Nam Nguyen, Hoa Nguyen and Van Nguyen Comeaux. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Christina was a "Jack-of-all-trades" and there was nothing that she could not do. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and entertaining her family and friends. Christina was very funny, compassionate, resilient, smart, and one-of-a-kind. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving sons, Nam Nguyen of Henderson, and Hoa Nguyen of Houston, TX; daughters, Kim Nguyen of Lafayette, and Van Nguyen Comeaux and her husband, Shane of Youngsville; brothers, Long Nguyen and wife Luot Tran, Vu Nguyen, Tru Nguyen and wife Molly Tran, all of Henderson, and Hoang Nguyen of Dallas, TX; sister, Kim P. Nguyen and husband Tho of Scott; granddaughter, Sarah Vo; grandsons, Andrew Nguyen, Kai Comeaux, and Kamden Comeaux; and great granddaughters, Emmalyna Vo and Emerson Bonvillain. She was preceded in death by her father, Than Van Nguyen; her mother, Lien Mai; and her ex-husband, Louis Luong Van Nguyen. Pallbearers will be Tony Nguyen, Binh Nguyen, Thai Nguyen, Thuan Nguyen, Tan Nguyen, and Tyler Nguyen. Honorary pallbearer will be Anthony Nguyen.
