Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Henderson Bible Church in Henderson, for Ciera Michelle LaFleur, 20, who died on Sunday, April 3, 2011. Pastor Sherman Soileau will officiate at the funeral service. Musical selections will include, 'My Wish,' 'Help Me Find My Wings,' and 'Never Been More Homesick.' Interment will follow at Henderson Bible Church Cemetery in Henderson. Ciera was enrolled in the curriculum of General Studies at S.L.C.C. and received a certificate from Louisiana Technical College. She was employed at Camp Bow Wow where she handled their marketing and cared for the animals - she most especialy loved taking care of dogs. In her free time, Ciera enjoyed working out, playing the piano, and dancing. She loved spending time with her family and going on family vacations. She adored her parents and often told her mother that, 'She was her best friend, and Daddys little girl.' Ciera was fearless and possessed a strong will and determination. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and her many friends, who knew and loved her. Survivors include her parents, Todd and Stephanie Allemond LaFleur of Cecilia; her brother, David Austin LaFleur of Cecilia; her paternal grandmother, Katherine Y. LaFleur of Gonzales; her maternal grandparents, Stephen and Mary Nolia Allemond of Henderson; and her two dogs, Obie and Pogo, who were like her children. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ervin Eugene LaFleur. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 11 p.m. and continue on Wednesday at 7 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. Pallbearers will be Dylan LeBlanc, Daniel Allemond, Nicholas Hayes, Eric Moody, Paul LaFleur, and Matthew Moody. Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Dupuis and Grant LaFleur. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
