BreauxBridge - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Clarence Joseph Brown, 57, who passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at his residence.
Pastor Joseph Stelly will conduct the services.
Clarence enjoyed starting off his day by visiting with his friends early in the morning. In his free time he enjoyed riding his bike, listening to his music, working on cars, and going dancing.
Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Brown of Beaumont, TX; his son, Clarence Winfrey of Breaux Bridge; two step sons, Kenneth and Bryand Celestine of Beaumont, TX; his brother, Calvin Jolivette of Lafayette; two sisters, Dorothy Batiste and Tina Lewis, both of Breaux Bridge; four grandchildren, Dorian Savoy, Kentrece Celestine, Kentera Celestine, and Briandaja Celestine; his godmother, Edna Charles of Arnaudville; and two godchildren, Virginia Ames and Trishayla Edmonds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Lucille Ames Brown; three brothers, Melvin and David Brown and Lonnie Jolivette; and two sisters, Prenella and Beverly Brown.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
