Clifford "Cliff" Doiron, Jr.

New Iberia – A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Clifford “Cliff” Doiron, Jr., who passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Galveston, Texas.

Entombment will be at a later date in the Holy Family Cemetery.

Rev. Keith Landry will officiate.

Visitation will be Saturday, from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue on Sunday, from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.

A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Saturday.

Cliff was born on February 26, 1964, in Austin, Texas, and was a 1982 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School. He was employed by Shell Oil Company for 25 years and Teche Federal Bank for 15 years and was known for his IT computer repair skills. If you had a computer problem, “call Cliff”. An avid outdoorsman, Cliff enjoyed fishing, cooking, participating in the Gumbo Cookoff, and was known for his famous delicious gumbo. Most of all, he dearly loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Kinta “Kitty” Girouard Doiron; parents, Clifford Lee Doiron, Sr. and Barbara Robin Doiron; daughters, Brittany Nicole Doiron and Kendall May Doiron; grandchildren, Raquel, Javier, Ainhoa, Lucas, Camila, Anthony “Bob”, Dominic, Emma, and Isabella “Izzy”; brother, Ricky Doiron (Jill); sister, Casey Doiron; nieces and nephews, Ramie Doiron, who is also a godchild, Tanner Doiron, Alex Herring, and Kennedy Herring.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford A. Doiron, Geraldine Vaughn, Oscar Robin, and Barbara Migues Robin; step grandfather, Sonny Vaughn; great grandparents, Mabel and Gene Migues; sister, Robin Doiron; and a godchild, Kyle Breaux.
