Rynella - Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella, for Clint Paul Romero, 57, who passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 am until 9:30 am on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Eric Landry and Virginia Pommier. Gift Bearers will be Ami Segura, Heidi Migues, Morgan Reed, and Alex Romero. Interment will follow at St. Marcellus Catholic Cemetery in Rynella. Clint enjoyed camping and cutting grass. He cherished moments spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Linda Touchet Romero of New Iberia; his son, Johnny Joseph Migues and his wife, Raquel Darcey Migues of New Iberia; his daughters, Cindy Romero Segura and her husband, Derek Paul Segura of New Iberia and Dolly Migues of New Iberia his mother, Bobbie Sandifer Romero of New Iberia; his brothers, Wiltz Joe Joseph Romero of New Iberia, Frank John Romero and his wife,Tina Buteaux Romero of New Iberia; his sister, Juanita Romero Minville and her husband, Raymond Minville of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Rickey Reed, Jr., Heidi Migues, Morgan Reed, Ami Segura, Bekah Segura, Haidyn Migues, and his special little man, Emmett Segura all of New Iberia; his godchildren, Charles Braun of New Iberia, Jessie Romero, Jr. of Hondo, TX, Scott Romero of New Iberia, Brian Segura of New Iberia, and his special godchild, Alex Romero of New Iberia. He is preceded in death by his father, Wiltz Romero, Sr.; his brother, Jessie James Romero, Sr.; his grand-daughter, Macy Lynn Migues; his grandparents, Edwin and Anita Deslette Romero, his grandfather, John Sandifer; grandmothers, Ethal Bryant and Seborn Madison Bryant; his father-in-law, Verdy Joseph Touchet, Sr.;his mother-in-law, Ester Landry Touchet; and his sister-in-law, Mable Ann Martin Romero. Pallbearers will be Johnny Migues, Rickey Reed, Jr., Wiltz "Joe" Joseph Romero, Jr., Frank Romero, Larry Segura, and Verdy Touchet, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Romero, Jr., Derek Paul Segura, Charles Braun, Emmett Segura, Scott Romero, Brian Segura, and Alex Romero.
