Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Monday, September 20, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Clint Shawn Aubrey, 53, who passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm on Monday.A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am on Monday.Rev. Dempsey Davis will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Clint was a cowboy at heart who loved riding his horses. He played basketball for many years. During his college days, he was scouted by a Chicago Bulls agent to play professional basketball. Clint was very close to becoming an NBA player, but due to injury and other obstacles, he chose another profession in law enforcement. He will be remembered for his zest for life, athletic abilities, and his kind and gentle heart. He is survived by his wife, Lori Aubrey; sons, Tiylon Alexander, Jabyron Alexander and a stepson, Jon Ross Eddy (Janice); stepdaughters, Kristin Eddy (Justin) and Shana Davis (Shane); grandchildren, Tryston Delafosse, Sawyer Eddy, Addy Davis, and Ayra Eddy; mother, Monita F. Aubrey; and his brothers, Demetrius Aubrey and Joseph Roland Aubrey, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Roland Aubrey, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Louis and Vernice Aubrey; and maternal grandparents, Edolia and Maurice Ferdinand.Pallbearers will be Mark Bonnet, Wayne Charles, Ben Alex, Carl Bourque, Michael Pete, and Ted Daigle.Honorary pallbearers will be Demetrius Aubrey, Joseph Roland Aubrey Jr., Tryston Delafosse, Joseph R.
