Parks - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Monday, May 5, 2014, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks, for Corrine Marie Morris, 72, who passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Louis Chapel in Parks from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 am on Monday. Rev. Donovan Labbe will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift Bearers will be Tanner Morris and Delacey ONeil. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Corrine enjoyed cooking for family gathering and providing for her family in time of need. In her free time she enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. She is survived by two sons, Albert Morris and wife, Wendy, and Kevin Al Morris and wife, Angela; two daughters, Jeanella Morris Ledet and husband, Howard, and Shelia Morris Doucet and husband, Antoine; four brothers, Howard Morris, Charles Morris, Paul Morris, and Horance Morris, Sr.; two sisters, Emily Johnson and Rita Brown and husband, Joseph; seven grandchildren, Gustavia ONeil, Delacey ONeil, Jyle Hypolite, Bryson ONeil and fiance, Tyra, Brock Sam and wife, Sentrell, Tanner Morris, and Allajha Morris; two great grandchildren, Brock Sam, Jr. and Ava ONeil; her very close cousin, Marie Mouton; and very close and cared for nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Morris, Sr.; her mother, Gussie Charles Morris; her brother, Albert Morris, Jr.; her grandson, Nathan ONeil, Jr.; her nephew, Leonard Morris; a great niece, Floya Morris; and her godparents, Auguste and Alice Charles. Pallbearers will be Bryson ONeil, Brock Sam, Joseph Brown, III, Cornelius Hypolite, Milton Anthony Johnson, Lionel Morris, and Garland Jean Batiste Pellerin Funeral Home, (337.332.2111), is in charge of arrangements.
