Curnis "Sonny" Joseph White, Jr.

Breaux Bridge - Graveside Services will be held at 4:00 pm, on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge, for Curnis Joseph "Sonny" White, Jr., 55, who passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. Sonny studied chemistry at U.L. and enjoyed the on-going continuation of his studies. As a pastime he enjoyed watching movies and fishing. He especially loved his nieces and nephews and spent many fishing trips with each of them. He is survived by his mother, Mary M. White of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, David Richard (Yolanda) White of Henderson and Kenneth (Phyllis) White of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Denise (D.J.) Eddy of Breaux Bridge and Patty White of Henderson; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Curnis Joseph White, Sr. Pallbearers will be Richard White, Kenneth White, Forest White, Michael Eddy, Chris Reynolds, and William White.
