Arnaudville- Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Cynthia Cunningham Bernard, 68, who died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Survivors include her husband, Emery Bernard of Arnaudville; five sons, Emery Eugene Bernard and his wife, Shelia of Ocean Springs, MS, Donald Wayne Bernard and his wife, Linda, Jimmy Dale Bernard and his wife, Amanda, Lucus Bernard, and Brian David Bernard and his wife, Belinda, all of Arnaudville; her daughter, Resa Marie Richard and her husband, Tommy of Arnaudville; her mother, Minerva Hollard Cunningham of Lucedale, MS; her brother, Edward Cunningham of Escatawpa, MS; her sisters, Mrs. Craig (Martha) Severa of New Orleans, Mrs. Charlie (Addis) Weaver of Escatawpa, MS, and Dorothy C. Holden of Lucedale, MS; eighteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Eugene Cunningham; her brother, Cecil Cunningham; and her sister, Priscilla Ann Austin. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10 AM on Monday and continue until time of service on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Brian Bernard, Lucus Bernard, Al Weaver, Joseph Richard, Jr., Donald Bernard and Jordan Bernard. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane and Aaron Bernard. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
