Dale "Lumpy" Derouen

Coteau – Private services will be held for the immediate family of Dale "Lumpy" Derouen , 62, who passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in Coteau. “Lumpy” was born in New Iberia on November 20, 1957 to John Rudy and Mary Ann Gondron Derouen. He was a horse trainer who loved horse racing and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Gondron Derouen of Coteau; sister, Myra Boutte and husband Kenneth of Coteau; brother, Brent Derouen and wife Linda of New Iberia; nephews and niece, Joshua Derouen, Ashlan Derouen, and Ethan Derouen. He was preceded in death by his father, John Rudy Derouen, and a brother, Brian Derouen. Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560, is in charge of the arrangements.
