Dan Joseph Courville

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Dan Joseph Courville, 46, who died on Thursday, April 10, 2014 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery in Jeanerette. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. Dan was born on June 1, 1967, and was working in outside sales for Doug Ashy Building Materials. His hobbies included hunting, woodworking, going to the camp, dancing, riding motorcycles, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Norma J. Trahan of New Iberia; parents, Exilie and Betty Robertson Courville of New Iberia; daughters, Brianna Courville of New Iberia, Blair Mouton and husband Francis of Abbeville; son, Blake Courville of New Iberia; brothers, Dean Courville and wife Cyndi of New Iberia, Shelton Courville of New Iberia, Shane Courville of Mandeville; mother-in-law, Marilyn Trahan of Opelousas; grandchildren, Jamison Mouton, Jaleigh Mouton and one due to arrive in September; godchildren, Londyn Courville, Brody Courville, and Felicia Duplantis.
