Dana Michele Roberts

Cecilia - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dana Michele Roberts, who left this world on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on July 7, 1980, in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dana brought joy and light to everyone she encountered throughout her life. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, known for her vivacious spirit and infectious laughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Friday from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Friday.

Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Lacy Wiltz, Yolanda Cook, and Lauryn Herpin. Gift bearers will be Onteria Calais and Natalee Robinson. Music will be provided by Robert Noel and Imani Babineaux.

Burial will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.

Dana was dedicated to her work and career at Total Visa Solutions. She was respected and admired by colleagues and clients alike. She proudly earned her Bachelor's Degree, reflecting her commitment to both education and professional excellence.

Outside of work, Dana's passions ignited a love for life that was fully embraced. She adored her dogs and horses, and spending time in her garden. A true social butterfly, she was the life of the party, always enjoying good fun and making lasting memories with friends and family. Her love for the color pink symbolized her joyful nature, leaving a mark of warmth wherever she went.

She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Jeanne Semere; brother, Aaron Roberts (Caaron); niece, Ashylon Roberts; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Roberts; grandmother, Nola Semere; and grandparents, Harold and Mary Semere.

Pallbearers will be Horace Semere, Ronald Semere, Toicy Babineaux, Sr., Reginald Semere, Kenneth Joseph and Grayland Semere.

Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Roberts, Henry Semere, Jeremy Landry, Michael Wiltz, Jesse Ben, Marcus Wiltz, Tyrone Gathe, Kyle Ben, Tyrone Daigle, Philip Semere, and Robert Semere.

In this difficult time, let us come together to honor and remember the light that was Dana Michele Roberts. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
