Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge honoring the life of Danielle Borel Boudreaux, 52, who passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 in St. Martinville.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Visitation will continue after the service until 9:00 pm.

A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Saturday evening.

Father David Rozas will officiate at the Funeral Service.

Born on December 2, 1973, in Marrero, Danielle lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and a love for the simple pleasures that brought her joy.

For 26 years, Danielle served as a lab animal technician for the UL Research Center in New Iberia, where her commitment and care for animals were evident in every aspect of her work.
An avid fisher, she cherished the peaceful moments spent at Lake Martin. Her love for the outdoors was only matched by her love for her beloved cats, Gypsy and Sheriff.

Danielle was a loving and devoted mom, sister, aunt and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Jayde Boudreaux; sisters, Mel Olivier (David) and Rachelle Borel; nieces, Tori Olivier and Kylie Olivier; nephews, Blaize Borel (Misti) and Branson Chiasson; great-nephew, Brantsley Borel; and great-niece, Evvie Borel; as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kennedie Boudreaux; and parents, Steven Borel and Paula Dufrene Borel.
