Danny Doucet, born September 1, 1969, in New Iberia, Louisiana, passed away on October 30, 2025, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Danny lived a life marked by humor, passion, and a deep devotion to the people he cared for.

Danny was known for being genuinely funny. He was the kind of person who could lift the mood in any room. He lived to cook, taking pride in feeding others, and he had a natural love for singing and making music. Family was everything to him. He made sure the people he loved knew he loved them, never leaving those feelings unspoken or unnoticed. His heart was big, his presence warm, and his love steady.

Danny was humble, honest about his walk through life, and never allowed his mistakes to define him. Instead, he chose growth, kindness, and the simple joy of showing up for others. That strength, quiet, human, and real, is part of the legacy he leaves behind.

Danny had a deep love for Jehovah and found comfort in the hope found in Scripture. His faith shaped the way he loved, forgave, and showed kindness to others.

Danny is survived by his sons: Jacobi Faulk, Danny Doucet, and Dylon Doucet. He is also survived by his siblings: Bryan Doucet of New Iberia, Loyce Doucet of New Iberia, and Joy Doucet of Florida; as well as his grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Doucet, Sr. and Olivia Fusilier Doucet, along with his brothers, Lloyd "Butchie" Doucet, Jr. and Michael Wayne Doucet. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Junius and Irma Fusilier, and his paternal grandparents, Elsie and Louis Brown.

Danny's life will be honored with love, stories, and the music he cherished. Though he is no longer here with us, the memory of his voice, his laughter, and his generous spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

"To know Danny was to love him, and to be loved by him was a blessing."
