Racheau, 61, who passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in New Iberia . Born on October 6, 1949 in New Iberia , Danny worked as a wireline engineer for Dia-Log with over 25 years of service and also for Tetra Technologies. He enjoyed hunting, reloading, and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Susie Blanchard Racheau of New Iberia; mother, Mildred Trahan Racheau of New Iberia; son, Brent Racheau and fianc Brandie Simon of New Iberia; daughters, Cher Racheau Louviere and husband Chance of Lafayette, Shelly Racheau Frohlich and husband Jesse of New Iberia; brothers, Rex Racheau of Franklin, Troy Racheau and wife Crystal of New Iberia; sisters, Debbie Racheau Buteaux and husband Glenn of New Iberia, Gale Racheau Romero and husband Hans of New Iberia, Faye Racheau Bowen and husband John of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Ashton, Charlize, Chloe, Grant, and Claire. He was preceded in death by his father, John Raymond Racheau; sister, Diane Racheau Walker; grandparents, Mathilda and Evalture Trahan, Agnes and Frank Langlinais, and Mitch Racheau. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 9:30 AM until 6:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia .
