David Comeaux

Youngsville – Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for David L. Comeaux, 63, who passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. Interment will be at a later date.

Pastor Paul Neel will officiate.

Visitation will be held on Monday, from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, David was born on September 5, 1962, to the late Claude and Genevieve Wilson Comeaux. He was a graduate of Centerville High School and was a long-time employee of Danos. An avid LSU Sports fan, one of his common sayings was “even Ray Charles could see that”. David also enjoyed fishing and playing Candy Crush, however, his great pleasure was spending time with his family. He attended Our Savior’s Church, and his favorite number was 87 (IYKYK).

Survivors include his wife, Liz Judice Comeaux of Youngsville; children, Tyler Patout (Allie) of Marrero, Blake Comeaux of Lake Charles, Nicholas Comeaux of Youngsville, Kaitlin Comeaux of Youngsville, and Aprill Comeaux; granddaughter, Avery Patout; and a brother, Tommy Comeaux (Janell).

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sisters, Genevieve Comeaux, Billie Jean Broussard, and Claudia Richard.
