Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for David W. Hebert, 57, who passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm on Wednesday. A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 pm on Wednesday. Father Blake Dubroc will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will be held at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 at a later date. David was an avid Saints football fan. He loved riding motorcyles, cooking and playing cards. David enjoyed listening to various types of music, including French, Swamp Pop and old Country. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. David will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Verna Brown Hebert; daughters, Kristin (Richard) Valdez, Shelby (Broc) Arnaud, Stevie Hebert and Kylan Hebert; grandchildren, Jayse Soileau, Elijah Soileau, Madison Hebert, Violet Valdez, Taelyn Arnaud and Jaiden Arnaud; mother, Margaret Theriot; brother, Rickey Hebert; sister, Vicki Hebert; and dog, Bo. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Nicole Hebert; son, Jake Hebert; father, Allen Hebert; in-laws, James and Mary-Ann Brown; maternal grandmother, Lita Theriot; and uncles, Jim Theriot and Dan Theriot. Pallbearers will be Leroy Hebert, Scotty Theriot, Broc Arnaud, Chet Sonnier, Chase Fontenot and Tommy Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Valdez, Jesse Brown and Brittany Alfred.
