Dawn Michele Duhe'

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held for Dawn Michele Duhé at 3:30pm Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Pellerin Funeral Home. Michele passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026.

Visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home, from 11:00am until the time of service with a Rosary at 2:00pm.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

The Very Rev. William C. Blanda, V.F. will officiate.

Dawn Michele Duhé was born on June 1, 1995, to Lisa Trahan Duhé and Martin Bofill Duhé. She was a 2013 graduate of Catholic High School in New Iberia, LA where she was Captain of the CHS Dance team. She went on to receive a Marketing degree from Louisiana State University where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Among her proudest moments was the time she spent volunteering as a youth mentor through the Big Buddy mentoring program in Baton Rouge. Michele loved family trips to Disneyworld and the beach and spending time with her nephews, Rhett and Leo and her cat, Trouble.

Michele is survived by her mother, Lisa, brothers Malcolm Duhé and Sean Benoit and his wife Raven, nephews Rhett and Leo Benoit, grandparents Melvin and Martha Trahan and grandmother, Dawn Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Bofill Duhé, uncle, Mark Trahan and grandfather, John M. Duhé Jr.

The family wants to thank Hospice of Acadiana and the Calcutta House for their kindness and compassion.
