New Iberia – Funeral services will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home at 10:00 am on Friday, June 26, 2026, for Debra Daly, 59, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Hospice of Acadiana’s Calcutta House.

Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 am until 10:00 am.

Interment will be private.

Debra was born on February 18, 1967, and her joyful soul touched many lives in her lifetime. Disabled from birth, she had been in the care of Arc of Acadiana since 2004, where she absolutely adored her caregivers. Simple things brought Debra joy. She loved watching TV, especially the Food Network and westerns, and listening to country music, sometimes while sporting the shiny ball gowns that she was so fond of!

Special thanks to Debra’s caregivers, especially Michelle Rebert and Marquitta Sereal, for your love and dedication; and to Melanie Charles, her very first caregiver at Arc, who frequently visited Debra. 

Debra will remain in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.
