Delores Naquin Broussard

Cecilia - Private Services will be held for the immediate family of Delores Naquin Broussard, 79, who passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Delores retired from the St. Martin Parish School Board as a Secretary for Special Services. Prior to that she worked in the banking industry, oil field, and at some point, she put her cooking skills to good use and was the owner of Dee's Drive Inn in Cecilia. She was a devout Catholic who loved her family more than anything. She loved to dance and on most Sunday evenings, you could find her at Whiskey River listening to bands. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Bryan David and wife Stacy; daughter, Julie Guidroz and husband Danny; daughter-in-law, Rhonda David; grandchildren, Brandon David and spouse Leah, Alysse Dubois and spouse Christian, Danielle Gibson and spouse Rayne, Aaron Guidroz; great-grandchildren, Anna David, Emaline Dubois, Lily David, and Madeline Dubois; sister, Colleen Berard and husband Alvin; nephews, Ben and Chris Berard; and great nieces and nephews, Brynn, Easton, Brec, and Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Broussard; son, Brent David; parents, Ernest and Emaline Angelle Naquin. Family would like to extend special thanks to J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home and Lafayette General Medical Center for their love and care to Mrs. Delores and her family.
