Diana Lynn Bayham, lovingly known as Lady Di, passed away on August 6, 2023. She was a woman of vibrant spirit, always marching to the beat of her own drum and doing things her way. Diana's life was a beautiful tapestry of joys and sorrows, triumphs, and challenges, yet through it all, she exemplified resilience and an unwavering love for her family.

Diana was born on August 17, 1963, in Lafayette. From a young age, it was evident that she possessed a free-spirited rebel nature that would shape the course of her life. She embraced her individuality with gusto and never hesitated to chart her own path. Diana could make you laugh, cry, and sometimes both.

While Diana encountered her fair share of heartaches and struggles, she defied all expectations by refusing to let them define her. Deep within Diana's heart burned a flame of goodness and love, which found its roots in the love she shared with her daughter and grandchildren.

Family and friends held a special place in Diana's heart, and she enjoyed spending quality time with them whenever possible.

As we bid farewell to Lady Di, we celebrate a life lived to its fullest.

May she rest in eternal peace, knowing the profound impact she had on those fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence.

She is survived by her daughter, Lacy Aucoin; sister, Paula Steele; brothers, Clifford Roberts, Bryan (Melanie) Roberts, Kyle (Connie) Roberts; grandchildren, Cade Bayham, and Taliyah Collins; nieces and nephews, Trey and Tyler Steele, Kelsie, Brilie, and Landon Roberts, Logan and Maddox Roberts; and her companion, Brent Brasseaux.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Frederick and Eloise Roberts; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Emily Spinner; paternal grandparents, Chester and Monique Roberts and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth "Debbie" Roberts.

Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
