St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in Saint Martinville, for Dylon Louis Boudreaux, 18, who passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday.Father Rusty Richard, pastor of St. Martin de Tours will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Dylon was salutatorian of St. Martinville Sr. High Graduating Class - 2012. He was a member of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church and of the St. Martin Evangeline Players. He was a self taught pianist, a great magician who love to entertain everyone, but most of all the children. He also belonged to the Dead Poet Society Writing Group. Dylon loved spending time with his family and friends, especially at Easter and Christmas. In his spare time he loved to write, play video games and loved movies and recited Dudley Moore better than Dudley Moore. For Dylon, magic was all about presentation. He presented by opening doors for everyone, showing the world that chivalry was still alive. He presented with passion for film and theater, enhancing our enjoyment of great art. He presented in his complexity, showcasing that being unique and different can be a celebration of knowledge and the desire for more. He presented to family and friends, even in his passing, the strength to continue his unfinished business and letting us all know.Hakuna Matata. He is survived by his father, Jeremy Boudreaux of St. Martinville, his mother, Sonya Hardy Boudreaux of Eunice, his brother, Jude Daniel Bonin and his girlfriend, Kathryn Landry, his sister, Paige Catherine Bonin, his nephew, Nash Jude Boggs, his paternal grandparents, Rawlin Louis Boudreaux and Gayle Latiolais Boudreaux, his maternal grandmother, Peggy Hardy and maternal grandfather, Robert G. Hardy all of St. Martinville; his uncles, Stephen Hardy of St. Martinville, Lance Boudreaux of New Iberia, Jesse Boudreaux of Broussard, and Brandon Boudreaux of MN; 6 cousins; numerous aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Lena Latiolais. Pallbearers will be Jude Bonin, Donald Toups, Lance Boudreaux, Bradie Boggs, Marcel Dixon, Kameron Thibodeaux and Casey Batts. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Bergeron, Matthew and Chase Randazzo, Josh Porrier and Ty Dugas.
