Ode to our Mother
God's love is eternal; our mother's love was maternal. God loves without exception; our mother's love was perfection. A gentle soul she has always been; a faithful servant until reckoning. She taught us strength, dignity, and love; her love was perfect, as though straight from above. The world is better for having known her; we weep with heartache for having lost her. She is knocking today at Heaven's door; the worries of the world, she will know no more. She shall this day, see our dear Lord's face; our mother, our precious, will feel his grace. Rejoice, Rejoice, no more pain, no more sorrow; except for us, who selfishly feel hollow. Eternal bliss be unto you Mom.
The love and adoration that we feel for you, is the only thing that will see us through. God loves you dearly, as do all of us!
