As a longstanding member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, she actively participated in the Charismatic Movement and prayer group, dedicating herself to attending and teaching “Come Lord Jesus” for many years. Eildred and her late husband, John, were deeply involved in the Engaged Encounter ministry, generously opening their home to mentor couples and share their wisdom and faith.

Whether it was sewing for loved ones or delighting in the art of cooking, camping, or gardening – she poured her heart into everything she did. Her fondness for roses reflected the beauty she saw in the world around her.

Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her six children to include numerous foster children whom she embraced with open arms.  Eildred's role as a beloved grandmother brought boundless love and joy.
